We specialize in teaching German as a foreign language. For us, quality and success are paramount. The learning groups at Sprachschatz are small with about 6-12 people. This allows us to take into account the individual needs of each student and to address very specific difficulties, for example, with pronunciation. On request, we will practice work related language skills or prepare you individually and systematically for all important and internationally recognized German exams.

Based on years of experience, we design our teaching in a way that even complicated grammatical structures are learned thematically and playfully. German is the language of tuition from the very first lesson on. Our teachers use lively and interactive teaching methods, involve their students in discussions and dialogues, helping them to quickly overcome the feeling of embarrassment when speaking German. Everyone gets enough chances to speak. Therefore, our students enjoy learning German and are soon able to use the language in daily life or at work.

Our course system applies worldwide. All German language courses correspond to the levels of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and range from A1 for beginners to C2 for language skills at the highest level. Based on your previous knowledge you will attend a course in the appropriate level of language competence. If necessary, a written placement test and a short interview will help to find the course which best suits your language proficiency level. At different stages of your language course you will get the chance to write interim tests, so that you can always keep a close eye on your current learning progress.
